Use your Cell Phone as a PC Media Player RemoteSaturday, May 27, 2006 You can use your cell phone to control any media player that you have on your PC. All you need is to make sure that your cell phone uses Bluetooth. The application which handles turning your cell phone into a Bluetooth remote has been made for Linux, although it can be setup on Windows but requires some technological know how. The software comes in two parts, a server for your PC and a client for your cell phone. It works perfectly with cell phone such as the Nokia 6600,3650,7650,6670,6630 and Sony Ericsson p800,900,910 etc. You will need a Bluetooth dongle with a symbian s60/niq phone and you need to have your cell phone setup with your PC so that is has an incoming serial post for your phone. Full details and downloads of the Media Player cell phone remote control can be found here.
