First Cell Phone Film | Filmed on Cellular Camera

Italian directors have shot a feature film documentary using just a cell phone camera. The cell phone used was the Nokia N90, one of the higher spec camera cell phones. The film is called New Love Meetings and is a documentary about love and eroticism.

The feature film documentary interviewed several hundred people in bars, clubs, open markets and beaches about their views on sex. The directors chose to use a cell phone camera over a more conventional camera since it provided a more intimate experience between interviewers and interviewees and was less intimidating than using a conventional camera system.

Although cell phone cameras are limited in their abilities the quality of the documentary was still okay It is becoming more and more common for cell phone footage to be used in regular TV and is often used in news stories when members of the public have filmed a current event.
