Mobile Internet Access Dominant in Japan

Japans favored way of accessing the internet is through cell phones and other mobile devices according to a recent report from the Japanese government. Mobile internet access is more popular by three million Japanese citizens compared to using a PC. 69.2 million People access the internet through their cell phone compared to 66 million accessing the internet through their PC. The study also shows that those people which use their phone to access the internet generally access the internet more regularly.

This trend in Japan is what we could be soon seeing over in North America and Europe especially given the rise of WiFi technology which is already well integrated in Japan. Also the technology used for Japanese cell phones is a superior system compared to that used in Europe and America making their cell phone technology more advanced.
