Yahoo to be integrated into millions of MotorolasYahoo, the world’s largest internet media company has partnered with Motorola to provide Yahoo services in potentially millions of Motorola cell phone handsets. The deal will see the Yahoo Go for mobile services integrated into Motorola cell phones bringing Yahoo search, Yahoo email and address book directly to Motorola users. The service will only be available on mid to high end models although no details have been released on the specific handsets that will feature Yahoo Go. Yahoo also has a similar deal with Nokia which was announced back in January which can really see Yahoo becoming the central point for cell phone internet access for a large proportion of cell phone internet users. Yahoo seems to be ahead in this race against google for winning deals with cell phone manufacturers and carriers so far. |
