Planet Funk Cell Phone Single

A new mark in digital music history is soon to be marked out with the release of the first cell phone single. This cell phone single is by a new Anglo-Italian five piece band called Planet Funk. The cell phone single is called “Stop Me” and is due to be released on May 8.

We have recently seen other marks being made in digital music history with the band Artic Monkeys becoming famous through viral marketing which was vastly helped along by their internet presence. There was also a new single by Gnarls Barclay called “Crazy” which reached number one in the UK singles chart purely by online downloads.

The new cell phone single by Planet Funk will only be available through the 3 cell phone network when it is released in the UK. The cell phone single can then be transferred to the users PC or any other compatible device such as an mp3 player for free.
