Selling your Contract Phone – Cell Phone PricesFriday, April 14, 2006 This article is part 2 of 5 of our "Selling your Contract Phone on eBay" series. Yesterday we introduced selling your contract cell phone on eBay to end up paying very little for your cell phone contract. Today we are covering how to research the cell phone prices. Every year or at the beginning of a new contract you will be offered a choice of a new contract phone. There will be a choice of contract phones available. As you are going to sell the phone you need to find which one is worth the most by comparing current cell phone prices. A good place to sell your contract phone is eBay. To check out the prices simply do a search for the contract phone models available to you on your contract through eBay and make sure you tick "completed listings" after the results have loaded up. Make sure you update the eBay search results to see the completed listings. The "completed listings" check box can be found on the left about halfway down the eBay results page. Now you can see the cell phone prices that your potential contract phones have been sold for. Choose the contract phone which will most likely reach the highest price by taking an average of the cell phone prices. Make sure you only compare final prices that match your phone closely, for example your contract phone will be brand new and boxed but will be locked to your network provider so match only consider those phones in the eBay search results.
