Wrist Watch Cell Phone

The annual CTIA Wireless 2006 convention in Las Vegas showed a new innovative design for a wrist watch cell phone. Designed by Manon Maneenawa of the University of Bridgeport the wrist watch cell phone uses a triple fold hinge which allows it to be folded down into a small and sleek compact form which can slide into a wrist band holder.

While in the wrist band the wrist watch cell phone can be used with a speaker phone making it ideal for use while driving. When taken out of the wrist band it can be quickly unfolded into a regular cell phone.

With the wrist watch cell phone design Manon Maneenawa won the Fashion In Motion competition receiving a grand prize of $10,000. There is no news as to whether there are any cell phone manufacturers that are interested in using his design.
